City Government Wins Award for Excellent Policy Quality Index

The Jakarta government received an award as the government agency with the highest Quality Policy Index score in Surabaya on Tuesday (11/25).

To develop the best policies for Jakarta's development

The Jakarta government was represented by the Jakarta Regional Secretariat Legal Bureau Head, Sigit Pratama Yudha, in receiving the award. This award was presented by State Administration Agency Head, Muhammad Taufiq.

"This achievement awards motivate stakeholders, policy analysts, and regional legal product drafters to continue synergizing and to develop the best policies for Jakarta's development," he expressed, Friday (11/28).

Jakarta Wins First Place in SAC 2025

This Policy Quality Index (IQK) assessment is an instrument to evaluate the quality of government policies. The IQK measurement includes the planning process, implementation, evaluation, policy sustainability, as well as transparency and public participation.

The Jakarta government issued three policies enacted in 2022, namely the public transportation subsidy policy (Gubernatorial Regulation Number 46/2022), the social protection policy (Gubernatorial Regulation Number 44/2022), and the administrative district level policy (Gubernatorial Regulation Number 22/2022).

The Jakarta government is committed to continuously formulating, implementing, and developing policies that are sustainable, impactful, and improve the welfare of the Jakarta community.

This Policy Quality Index Award is not just a measurement, but also an achievement of a higher quality, effective, responsive, and accountable policy with tangible impact.
